Each map is designed and crafted in the foothills of the Appalachain Mountain Range in Western North Carolina. Hickory contains some of the oldest furniture manufacturers in the United States and is home to a vibrant crafting culture.

The Maker

CarbonLight began in 2014 out of my combined love for modern art and machining.  As an avid maker, I developed an affection for intricate fabrication. Laser cut maps offer a unique and personal way to show off your appreciation for art and technology while bringing home a little bit closer.
